Directions: Located at the MDC Reservoir in West Hartford. This is located on RT4. Park in the main lot loacted at the far back of the park. This hike is short and easy but there are a ton of other boxes in this park that you could make a day of it. First finder please contact me for your customized first finder gift.
Clues: Follow the path in a counterclockwise direction ( beginning by going through the yellow gate) Follow the paved path untill you come to the first trail off into the woods on the right (not the vehicle path that goes along the grassy hill) follow this path until you come to a section that is now sunny (or if it is a over cast day a section that you would expect to be sunny) As soon as you hit the sunny section there will be a trail off into the woods on your left. follow it uphill. You will come to a large pile of cut logs on your right. from this pile go 7 paces and take a compass reading of S 160. It will be 12 paces to the wooden cave where the dragon sleeps. please be cautious when stamping in and rehiding as the spot is visible from the trail but not a high traffic area.
