Replaced the stamp a few days ago. Someone had converted it into a geocache, but I moved the contents to the other local box. It is now officially a LEtterbox AGAIN.
4/3/09
Located at the Kennerdell Scenic Overlook.
To get there follow Route 257 South from Oil City, and other locations North. Or Route 257 North from Emlenton and other places South. Head West at the 4 way stop in Rockland driving towards Kennerdell. Its about 4-6 Miles from the country store to the Overlook.
Once at the Overlook, look towards the water from behind the large rocks. To your left will be a small trail, which goes straight, and also branches off curving around the hill side. Follow the footpath straight passing about 4 Oak Trees. Look for the Mossy rocks, which overhang slightly, with trees growing on top. The letterbox is tucked
in the corner at the base of the rocks.
This is one of my favorite stamps!
Bring own ink pad and pen.
Bonus: there's also a geocache hidden in this area.
