The original box went missing. It has been replaced with a new theme & stamp in the same general area. And now some updated clues as things have changed a bit.
This box is hidden at the Cherry River fishing access. From I-90 take exit 306 - north 7th. Head north and find the fishing access on the right just after the overpass as the road begins to head west.
Park and take the loop trail either direction. Near the plant sign is a trail junction; take the intersecting trail out towards the NE corner of the area. You should find a mowed path that takes you to a wood fence. At the east end of the wood fence follow the rather overgrown path along the fence towards the river. About halfway between the wood fence and the river just after crossing the small gully you should see a down cottonwood slong the west side of the path. Under some bark in a hole in the log you'll fine the box.
Please rehide well as there is also a geocache in the area.
This is a wetlands area so trails can be damp occasionally even impassable & mosquitoes bothersome at times.
