Temporarily removed while the cathedral cleans up from the December ice storm. Hopefully, we will be able to return it by the fourth of July, 2009.
Drive to Cathedral Road in Rindge NH. Follow signs to Cathedral of the Pines. Turn in at sign, but turn left on to Hale Hill Road before main entrance (do not go through stone pillars). Park across from the very large Oak tree on the left.
Walk back toward the main entrance, continue past onto a wide path with pine trees and stone walls on both sides. Follow to the end of the trees on the right side, walk around them until you are walking in the opposite direction. Look behind the third tall pine for a large mossy rock. Move the rock just in front of it to reveal the letterbox hidden beneath.
Go and explore the Cathedral. It has wonderful gardens, an incredible view of Mountain Monadnock, and a memorial to our soldiers.
