From Leechburg head north on Rt. 66. You will make a right onto Crooked Creek Dam rd. From Ford City head south on Rt. 66 just past the crooked Creek market, you will make a left onto Crooked Creek Dam rd. Once on that road you will make a right at Park Main rd. At the stop sign you will continue straight ahead. Just up ahead you will see a sign for Fisherman's Trail off to your right. Park there and start walking down the trail. You will eventually come to a wooden bridge. Cross over this bridge. (Note: If you like to fish, you may want to continue straight on this path, it will lead you to a nice little fishing hole). After you cross the bridge you will want to follow the path to your right. Take this trail the whole way to the top of the hill, until you come to a clearing. You will be able to see a restroom and a parking lot straight ahead of you in the distance. Before you reach the clearing you will see a large hollowed out stump in the woods off to the right about 8 feet away from the trail. What you are looking for is behind this stump, at the base, covered with rocks. Please rehide carefully and make sure it is covered up good. Retrace your footsteps to get back to the car. Keep your eyes peeled for some local wildlife. While hiding this letterbox we encountered several chipmunks, a deer and a racoon. Hope you enjoy!
