This is one of the four aircraft hidden at Binder Lake in Jefferson City. To get to Binder Lake, take highway 50 West. Exit at Apache Flats Business 50. Take this until you reach the ball fields and take a right on S. Binder Lake rd. Take a left on Rainbow Dr. and take a right on Binder Lake Rd. Follow this road as it winds around the lake. It will pass a fishing dock and then head down a hill. At the bottom of the hill is a parking area with a tree in it. Park here.

Take the trail to the east near the lake. This path will split in two but comes back together. It's funner to take the trail between the two trees next to the brush. This trail will wind down next to a marshy inlet of the lake. If you listen you can hear all sorts of animals. Frogs are our favorite. You will cross a set of small creeks. Standing just on the other side look at 150 degrees and you will see a Y shaped tree. Your box is two and a half paces from the back side of this tree. Please rehide this box well and be careful with the hiding place.

*We planted this box during high water at the lake. But if there is water on the trail turn back. This trail runs down beside the lake.

If you have some spare time, swing by the rc aircraft landing strip and watch the planes.

Please drop me a line and let me know how the adventure went. Please be sure to secure the lid and remember to properly rehide. Do not be tempted to make it easy for the next finder.
