*****Note: 6/11/07 - Box #3 is in its original hiding place. I've revised the directions to try to make them more clear - see below.

****NOTE:5/31/07 - I was alerted that box #3 is missing or impossible to find. Will check on it by 6/8/07 and update.

An easy walk (although there is one very steep part at the beginning) and shouldn't take longer than 20-30 minutes.

You'll need to bring your own stamp pad.

This is a series of three stamps that should be stamped on one page in a vertical line in order - #1 on top, #2 in the middle, #3 on the bottom.

At the intersection of Routes 101 and 114 in Bedford, go left and continue West on Rt 101 to Wallace Road (a plaza with Harvest Market is on the right), turn right onto Wallace Road and travel for approx 3/4 of a mile to Benedictine Park on the right. Turn in and park in the lot.

Box #1
At the brown poled entrance, bear right around the outcrop of bushes, stay to the right and follow the perimeter of the field to a trail opening in the woods (this field is in a "U" shape and the trail opening is at what would be the "bottom" of the "U"). The beginning of the trail is steep - about 3/4 of the way down the trail is an oak tree with three trunks - you treasure is buried in the crook of the tree under leaves. Please rehide well.

Box #2
Come back up the trail you entered to find box #1, continue to the right around the perimeter of the field to an opening to another sloped field - continue to the right around the perimeter to another trail opening (similar to the trail opening where you found box #1). Near the entrance to this trail (which is not steep, but was a little muddy they day we were there), is a large maple tree with an odd keyhole shaped hollow, your treasure is buried behind the tree.

Box #3
Go back to the brown poles at the entrance to the park (stand in the parking lot) and go directly to your left - you will be going behind a cluster of lilac bushes and shrubs and trees - continue across this small field - there is a picnic table near the top of the rise and an entrance on the right to an opening between two large arborvitae hedges (looks like an aisle). Walk up this "aisle" to the end and the clumping of pine trees - there is a broken fireplace within this clumping and a small pathway to the right between the pine trees that takes you to a small open field behind one of the arborvitae hedges - look to your left and there is a HUGE scotch pine tree. Go around the right side of the tree (being careful not to get poked by its branches) and at the back of the tree, covered by leaves and pine cones, is box #3. Hope that helps! If not, let me know and I'll move it. Thanks!

Good luck!
