McCollum Park
600 128th St SE
Everett, WA 98204
Easy - Great for kids
Take Exit 186. Head East. McCollum Park is a short distance pass the light house on the right hand side of the road. Pull into the parking lot on the right. It looks like this is a great place to go for a swim, but not today. Follow the concrete trail until it becomes gravel. The trail will lead into the woods to a large A-frame hut. Take the gravel path to your left before the park bench. Continue on the path parallel with the small creek on your left. You will pass by two old fire pits and many picnic tables, until you come across a wood bridge. Cross over the wood bridge. Immediately to your left will sit a large rock with a plaque for the Eagle Scout Project by James Hendricks. Next to the rock there are a group of six hand made wood benches and two extremely large stumps. Walk directly from the rock to the overgrown stump by the creek. Inside a large crevis at the base of the stump will contain the Egg Hunt letterbox hidden behind a dark piece of concrete.
Please replace the letterbox how you found it, and be careful you are not spotted by nature walkers.
