This is an easy drive by along the AirLine trail - Amston section.
My in-laws live up on Amston Lake and I enjoy walking & biking the AirLine trail when I visit them. So my thank you to all the eastern CT boxers for the nice boxes along the trail that I've had the pleasure to find.
Start in the AirLine trail parking lot behind the lumber yard just off Route 85 between Hebron and Colchester, about a 1/2 mile south of Route 207.
Stand at the south (left) end of the big brown sign that says Airline Trail State Park. Take a reading of 270. Along that reading about 50 steps (25 paces) out you'll find three stumps. Look in stump #2 under a rock for the box.
Hope you learn something about my home state of Montana.
Bring your own ink pad. Out west we rarely put them in boxes because it is so arid they just dry up.
