These letterboxes pay homage to my favorite novel. Appropriately your quest should start at a library. Evelyn Meador library can be reached from Houston by traveling south on I-45, exiting left on Nasa rd 1, following it until it crosses Hwy 146 and then turning L on Meyer rd. The library is at the edge of Meador/Miramar Park and is across the street from Seabrook Intermediate. The address is 2400 Meyer Rd, Seabrook Texas.

Once you arrive, park in the library parking lot, walk past the historical marker and join the trail. You should be traveling NW. The trail will T off, go R, at the next T, go right as well. Now to your right you should see a thicket of trees with a couple of benches inside. Walk to the small tree in the middle of the thicket. At 200 degrees, you should see a group of 4 trees standing together. The protagonists are in the middle, plannning and plotting their revenge. There is one very thorny vine growing in the middle of the trees as well, but if you are aware of it, then it shouldn't be a problem. Rehide well, this is a popular stopping place for hikers and bikers.

Get back on the trail and proceed southwards. When you get to a street, cross over, turn left and cross the small wooden bridge and then immediately turn right. This should put you back heading south. Be careful! You are now entering the WILD WOOD, its also known as the Seabrook disk golf course so be aware of flying disks, but for our purposes, we call it the WILD WOOD. Stay on this trail until you cross a wooden bridge over a stream, turn left and follow the SE trail until you come to another wooden bridge to you left. Cross that bridge and then take 72 steps. On your left there should be a fallen tree. The dreaded antagonist is waiting in the hole at the root end of the tree. Be brave, you've found him and now you can leave the WILD WOOD (after you carefully rehide the box), you have vanquished the foe!

If you want a spoiler, heres a clue:
ISBN: 1402725051
If you successfully find these letterboxes, but have never read the story, stop back into the library, check out the book, take it home and read it to anyone who will listen.

Good Luck!
