The Lake Stevens Historical Museum is right next door to the library, but has sporadic hours.

Go to Lake Stevens, WA (Lake Stevens is different than Frontier Village)

Go to the Lake Stevens Library.

796, Rules O, 1995, p 64

Then go out the back door. Go left, looking around, until you see what you're supposed to see.
If you were to play, half the time straight ahead there's a red direction to follow. Follow it to a tree. From there you'll see a police vehicle. There's a rope tied to it, keeping it from moving. You can't get into that area, but go onto the larger one, which is public. At the end of that find a large table of a strange shape. Also read the informative placards. On one, you'll learn where the old post office was. Go there. (not inside, but out front)
Hey! Here's something the same shape as that table you saw. Go there. Also find something similar, but square and lower. Go to its farthest corner. Before you leave, notice the flapping thing that is easternmost (and on top). Then, go between the buildings.
You'll see a few metal bars the same color as that previous flapping thing. Go between them to the top, and look around. You will see a third thing the same shape as that odd-shaped table. (NOTE: Cars may block your view.) Go there.
Stand at the front, between the two front posts. What time is it? (NOTE: A tree may seasonally obscure it.) Head in a modified beeline towards there, then stop when you find a bridge.
At one corner of the bridge is a sign that is similar in shape to that darn table. Go to the opposite corner of the bridge. Head under the bridge, and under the first big rock there, is the Man On 2nd Letterbox.

I perceive that this under-the-bridge area may get bored-teenager use, so please rehide the box well with rocks and bits of leaves and such.

Do you remember carbon paper? The flap is designed to tuck over the papers you don't want carbonated.
