Take I-64 to Exit 11....Go South away from town on Route 10. Look at your odometer and note the milage. Proceed South about 3.8 miles. Look for a brown sign and turn right on Hughes Branch. Proceed 4 miles then over a big hill with some serious hairpin turns. Drive carefully. About 2 miles later you'll come to a Stop Sign. Turn Left and proceed to the Brown Sign with a Blue Heron. One mile ahead, turn right into the park. Pass the (usually empty) guard shack. Pass two brown buildings on your left and turn left at Moxley Branch sign. Cross the bridge over the lake. Turn right and park by the brown building. Proceed due South past campsite #35 to the trail into the woods. Cross the First Wooden Bridge and follow the trail. At the Second Wooden Bridge, take the trail going North/NorthWest. After about 1/2 mile, you get to a place where the trail splits around some bushes and trees and then joins back up on the other side. Don't go either way. Instead look to your left for the 5 foot tall stump. From the 5 foot tall stump, go 30 steps at 180 degrees to the roots of a fallen tree. The box is in the ground, where the roots used to be, under 2 rocks.
