Directions:
Someday It’ll Be Real was planted at the Papscanee Island Nature Preserve. Take I-787 South to Exit 3A to Rensselaer. Go through 3 lights up Routes 9&20 (Columbia St.) and turn RIGHT onto Route 9J South. Go 4 miles to the Papscanee Island Nature Preserve (SOUTH ENTRANCE) sign and turn right onto Staats Is Rd. Go .4 mile to the parking lot on the right (just over the railroad tracks).
** This entrance is ONLY open from April 1 – October 30. You can only get this letterbox during this time.
*** This is a micro-box and you will need you own ink pad and a pen.
Clue:
Stop at the trailhead to look at the map and then begin on the trail. You will soon see a trail go off on the left, continue straight on the trail. The railroad tracks will continue to be on your right hand side. After a while, you will pass a metal gate on your right next to the railroad tracks. You will then come to a “T” in the trail. From the tree in the middle of the “T”, go 302 degrees to a medium size tree. Behind this tree, under 3 rocks, is Someday It’ll Be Real.
