The entire walk should take 15-20 minutes. Suitable terrain for all ages. THIS BOX WILL BE REMOVED AT THE END OF MAY, AS WE WILL BE MOVING OUT OF THE COUNTY.

In honor of our very first letterbox find at the Montgomery Cemetery in Norristown, we have planted our very first letterbox in the same cemetery. From Markeley St. in Norristown, turn left onto W. Main Street. At the western edge of town, across from the Your Storage and U-Haul, turn left onto Hartranft Street. The cemetery is a few blocks down where Hartranft dead ends. There is street parking, but please pay attention to the posted signs.

Pass through the main gate and immediately turn right along the gravel road. At the "Y" take the right hand fork. Soon you should see Boyer. Continue on the main gravel path past a lovely tree and mound on your left.

After the tree, continue left on the gravel path. Up ahead you will see the Eisenhower family, and the gravel road ends. Turn to your left between Daniels and Newtown and head across the grass. Lees and Royer will watch you on your way.

At the Hunsicker stone (whose name is hidden from view) turn left onto the dirt road. Past the Haight stone on your left, look towards the right at the Weaver stone, holly tree, and boxwood bush.

Look in the boxwood bush by the MNC headstone to find your treasure! Do your best to rehide it securely.

To exit continue forward, and at the Crawford family turn right towards the gate.

*From the main gate, if you head left you will see some of the civil war heroes pointed out by the "Father of the Fightin' 28" letterbox clues that we found on Aug 11, 2004. This cemetery is rich with history.
