This box is kid friendly. However it is not wheelchair accessable. It should only take about an hour to find all boxes. The terrain is rocky at times and hill at times.

Peter Cotton Tail visits Dodge Park

Dodge Park is a great place to have a picnic or a BBQ. It is also a very popular place to fish along the Sandy River. There is a place for kids to swing and teeter totter. When finding these boxes please try to be very discreet. There may be many people around so be careful not to be seen and re-hide all boxes well.

This series was meant to be placed at Devils Lake in Lincoln City, however Funky Munky got very ill and we had to come home early. Therefore we chose Dodge Park because it is closer to home. We hope you enjoy your Easter hunt any time of year!

Box #1: Carved and Place by Funky Munky

When pulling into Dodge Park follow road to the back and park where you can see the river in front of you. When getting out of your car, look to the right for a trail that leads through a grassy area with a picnic area. Follow that trail along the river going up stream till the path narrows and ends. On the right you should see a GIAGANTIC rock covered in moss. Behind the rock is a fallen tree and some smaller rocks. Here is were you’ll find a very lovely Easter egg.

Box #2: Carved and Place by Hot Mama

Return the way you came to the parking lot and follow the road next to the River. Look for a turnaround on the right side. Just beyond that you’ll see a series of large boulders. Count 5 boulders to the right of the garbage can. Under the 5th boulder covered by rocks is the beautiful Easter Lilly.

Box #3: Carved and Placed by Texas Toad

Now continue Past the boulders down the path leading the River. Ignore the path to the right leading to the waters edge and continue to were you can see two rivers coming together. On the right you’ll see a tree with its roots above the ground and a rock at its base. Under the large rock covered by smaller rocks is Peter Cotton Tail.

Box #4: Carved by Susie Bee Placed by Funky Munky

Turnaround and go back the way you came. Take the path to the right following the river till you reach the 1st picnic table. Go left across the road and up the trail marked by two boulders. When you reach the top veer right at the red pipe. Pass the picnic table to another path leading down hill. Stay to your left and cross the road to another picnic area. Then go left across the road and past a scary hairy tree. Look for a rock stuck in the ground by a picnic table. When standing on the rock look through the 4 trees and across the road to the tree with the ferns at its base. On the left side of the tree in a crack covered by mulch is a basket full of eggs.
