This is an easy trail, easy clue to find. Great for young kids. Stroller can be pushed or bikes can be ridden on this trail.

Park in the lot by the gate at Northwood Meadows State Park along Rt. 4, across from a great puzzle store!

Walk down the road a long way.

At the Y junction in the road, with the potty, go down the steep hill on the right.

Past the pond on your left and the little swamp on your right, take a left onto the trail into the pine forest.

As you come down a little hill you will see a small fort made of logs in front of you.

Stand on the right side of the fort and look up the little hill to a rock sitting on the top.

Under the roots of the tree your treasure you will see.

Please be sure to hide it well!

The rest of the trail leads around the pond and is very pretty, and a stroller can still be pushed along the whole thing.

This is the first letterbox placed by Delaney, age 7, DJ age 4, and Kaylyn who just turned three. We have been searching for letterboxes for the past year and finally placed our own. Hope you like it.
