Letterboxing Directions
Leave I81 at exit number 279. Follow Stoney Creek Blvd. East into Edinburg for .5 mile and find an old brick school on the left side of Stoney Creek. Facing the front of the school, walk up to the Red, White and Blue blowing in the wind. You will see two very tall pine trees on your left and two on your right. Look again to your left and you will see another tree, much shorter than the pines. It is located at approximately 300 degrees SW. Walk approximately 36 paces to the tree. If you are there in the spring, it may have pinkish buds. In the summer, the leaves will be heart shaped. You will know that this is the correct tree, because it is located directly behind a sign with a burning candle. The letterbox should be found tucked down in the twisted trunk.
