Mohrhusen park is a very small but pretty park that is surrounded by the city of Seabrook. You can find it from Houston by traveling south on I-45, exiting on Nasa Rd 1, following Nasa Rd 1 until it crosses HWY 146 and becomes 2nd street in Seabrook. The park is located at the corner of 2nd street and Cook st. The formal address is 110 Second Street.
Enter the park from Second st. As you walk in, notice the plaque that tells about the founding of the park, behind the plaque is a nice opportunity to smell the roses. Back on the paved path, walk around the fountain and notice the FINE SIGN. If you are behind the fountain now, you should look to your right, and proceed through the garden arch. Take a left and cross the bridge. Imediately after the bridge, stop and look left. Now take 17 steps and locate the post for the sign. The box is hidden in the hedges directly behind the signpost. Stamp and then rehide the box very well back into the shrubbery so that it will not get hit by passing mowers or float away in floods.
This is a micropark but a full sized letterbox and stamp.
Good luck!
