Difficulty: Easy
Distance to Minibox: 200 yards
Status of minibox: Alive and Well on 12/26/2007
The "Sneetches" minibox is located in LPC Dogwood Trail park, near Woodville, Texas. When in bloom, this is a wonderful hike (except if wet).
Directions:
From Woodville, travel east on US 190 about 3 miles to the LPC Dogwood Trail sign on the right. Turn left a go a little way to the trailhead on the left and park.
To the Minibox:
Walk the trail from the "no vehicle sign". Cross a bridge, cross another bridge, cross a 3rd bridge, reach a 4th bridge, but do NOT cross. At bridge, go back up the trail you came for 17 steps. Go left off the trail to the right-back side of smooth tree (with blaze on it). Box is at base roots, covered by brush and sticks.
