This is a kid friendly letter box that the whole family can enjoy. You might want to bring some carrots because you might see a bunny!
DIRECTIONS:
Take Highway 101 along the Oregon Coast. Take the northern most exit for Cannon Beach (Ecola Park Exit). At the first stop sign, take a right onto 5th Avenue. Park at Les Shirley Park which is on your left.
CLUES;
Walk east on the sidewalk of 5th Avenue past Ecola Park Road. Keep going until you get past a large grassy bush next to a telephone pole.
Turn right into a grove of trees (this grove is before the green field with the long white log).
Go to a very large evergreen tree next to the river bank.
The box is under a pile of rocks at the base of the tree.
After finding the box, enjoy feeding the bunnies in the field. They are very friendly. Their favorite is carrots as we have found they don’t care for celery.
