This is a kid friendly letter box that the whole family can enjoy. You will get a little wet on your hunt for this letterbox so be prepared for a little wading.
DIRECTIONS:
Take Highway 101 along the Oregon Coast. Take the northern most exit for Cannon Beach (Ecola Park Exit). At the first stop sign, take a right onto 5th Avenue. Park at Les Shirley Park which is on your left.
CLUES;
Walk south towards the river (past the emergency beach access sign).
Continue to the river’s edge.
Take a small path on your left (heading east)
Continue on the path through a field of drift wood, take a slight right to continue on the path. The path will then widen and narrow again.
Wade across small stream (up to your ankles)
Cross three small bridges.
Continue on path until you come to a long white log on your left.
Pass the log and turn left.
The Tiger lays in its cave beneath the first large knot of the white log from the west.
