This letterbox is actually a Bonus Box for Happy 4th!
It is a Mini Lock & Lock Box so there is only a stamp and log book NO INK PAD. You will need to bring your own GREEN INK PAD (Please do not use any other color!) It was recently checked on 7/20/09 and is good shape.
Start by following the clues for Happy 4th! and go to clue # 15. Sit on George & Virginia's bench and look to 75 degrees for a path leading down the hill to a fallen tree. Pass by the tree and follow the path to the first intersection. Follow the arrow and go right.
Follow this path until you come to another trail. On your right is a sign that says Return to Aspen Trail with an arrow. This points to your way home. To find the St. Patrick's Day Bonus Box go straight across the trail into the brush 37 paces towards a clump of trees. The first in the clump has 3 trunks, next come 2, then one. Next to the one is a hollow stump. Check its roots for your prize, but be careful! St. Patrick drove the snakes from Ireland not Michigan! LOL
