This letterbox is hidden in a State Forest in Missouri.
The forest honors Frank and Emma Elizabeth Reifsnider.
Gates open 4am to 10pm
It is located south off Hwy M between Foristell and Warrenton.

This is the first in what will be a series of boxes here. This one is not to far in.
The day I planted this box it had rained all morning. By late afternoon when it
was nice and dry outside, the creek was flooded and someone who had tried to cross
the low water bridge was having their car towed from the creek. I backed up the road
to the spot where you’ll stop and begin your search. In dryer weather I’ll plant more
boxes.

CLUES:
Pass the circle parking and welcome sign and enter the forest.
BEFORE the creek a pull-off you’ll notice.
To the left are great stones covered in green moss.
To climb them and explore is great fun to be had.
The view and experience are your only reward.
Lots of people do, there may be evidence of that.
Take away with you any that you may find.
On the other hand appear alone, just three.
A deeper peek reveals that’s not true.
Mossy stones too, on this side, only hidden.
A short walk through the glade and you’ll easily see,
A very large mossy stone in front with your back to the creek.
Then up near where folks travel, a group of about six.
Between two of these, deep under some leaves,
With a rock on top lies a Celtic Tricantrum.

PLEASE!! RE-HIDE WITH LOTS OF LEAVES ON TOP
DON’T FORGET THE ROCK. IT SHOULD BE JUST AS
DIFFICULT FOR THE NEXT PERSON TO FIND.

EXTRA CLUE IF NEEDED:
Nearby a root has produced three off-shoot trees,
They have grown up, out and over a soda bottle.
The group of rocks you want is up and to the right.

IF YOU’VE NOT GOT THE RIGHT GROUP OF STONES,
PLEASE DO NOT DISTURB OR RAKE THE LEAVES FROM
EVERY CREVICE.

You can try again from the spot where you’re parked.
From the third of the three that are alone.
Stride up the way you came in, at 44, the group you want is on your left.
