THE GRUMPALOT FAMILY
Once upon a time, there was a kingdom set in a beautiful park. At this park, the villagers raised trout and has some of the city’s coolest houses shaped like a certain wood grown fungas.
This kingdom was governed by a brother and sister. They did not like being in charge of the kingdom, they just wanted to play. So they got nicknamed Sir Grumpalot and Lady Grumpalot by the villagers.
Sir and Lady Grumpalot liked to hide from the villagers so they didn’t have to make any important decisions.
To find Sir Grumpalot you must follow these clues…..
Starting at the fish hatchery go across the road past the duck pond that has a viewing deck. Go over the bridge and go up the trail uphill. When the path splits stay to the right heading up. Go past the remains of a stone foundation. After the foundation there will be a series of three trees in the middle of the path leading toward a bench. Between the first and the second tree, before the wooden stairs, look to the left. Down the hill slightly there are some fallen trees. Under the smaller log in the front will be Sir Grumpalot hiding.
To find Lady Grumpalot drive down Courderoy Rd which is a curvy road. There will be signs leading you toward North Lodge. At the stop sign turn right on Wolston. You are heading east toward a playground. Park in the parking lot for the playground and go down the road on the right of it. When you come to a fork that has a sign for Shady Rest Parking turn left. Cross over a little creek, there will be another fallen tree on the left side. It forms a bridge over the creek. Where the tree touches the ground is where Lady Grumpalot will be found.
Sometimes the Grumpalot’s mom and dad, Master and Madame Grumpalot would get tired of hearing the kids grumping. They would send for Tiki the Tickle Monster out to get them!! Tiki would find Sir and Lady Grumpalot and just tickle tickle and tickle some more until they were no longer grumpy!
To find Tiki the Tickle Monster to chase away any grumpiness in your kingdom follow these clues….
Go back to the stop sign where the Shady Rest Parking sign was and go left. Walk along the path until you see a
3 trunked tree on the right, the center tree has a knot that looks like an eye staring at you. In the third trunk (left side as you are looking at it ) there is a hole about 4 feet off the ground. Inside there covered with leaves is the Tickle Monster!
Please make sure you return all boxes and hide them well. The park is very populated so be discreet.
While you are in the park make sure you find “Mushroom House” and “My First Tree”.
