This is a great park with something to enjoy for all the family (including pets).
The closest cross streets are Hayden and Jack Rabbit. If you come from the 101, be sure to watch your speed. The cameras are working again!
CLUES
Exit at McDonald and head west to Hayden where you will turn south. Make a left turn at Jack Rabbit at the stop light. Park in the parking lot to the right.
Proceed to the WELCOME TO CHAPARRAL PARK sign. You will see the Aquatic Center to the left.
Pass the blue fishing sign on the right. Continue until you come to a fork in the path.
To the right you will see a blue doggy drinking fountain.
Bear left up the hill. Pass the Tooley Family bench on the left and the knee lift exercise station also on the left.
Continue past the MUTT MITT BOX. Just beyond the push up exercise station, you will see a large evergreen tree on the left.
Look for the mini box attached to one of the lower branches of the tree.
