go to the new city park- Lewis Larus Park- located at corner of Huguenot Road and Forest Hill Avenue- the access point for this letterbox search starts at the parking spot just to the right of the entrance gate to Stony Point School (This was the home of Tobacco Magnate Lewis Larus whom the park is named after)
Driving directions to start point: from Huguenot Road turn onto Stony Point Road (opposite side of intersection from where Buford Road intersects), follow Stony Point Road past Ukrops on the left until road bends sharply to the left and the two lanes neck down to one, take the new road to the right(follow signs to Stony Point School). Park on right side just before the brick gate for the school entrance.
Follow the path from the brown park entrance sign into the woodland park.
Go past a few scatted bricks (might be hidden by leaves).
Where a trail splits off to left , do not take it, stay straight.
Look for a horizontal tree stump adjacent to path on left side(damage from Isabelle), where the trunk was cut out to clear the path.
continue down the path, look way up high at a tree that looks like
a football field goal post
walk to the base of the tree
take 7 steps to a fallen old tree further down along the path
find the box underneath the side opposite the path
deo vindice
