Directions to Thomas Winget park..... Take I-485 to exit 1 {S. Tryon Street}. Off the ramp head southbound {toward SC} on S. Tryon { the name of the road changes to York RD.}Turn right onto Westinghouse Blvd.{there is a gas station on the corner} Turn left onto Steele Creek Rd., { this is at a light} , go past the Peaceful Dragon Tea House on the right. Turn at the first right past the Peaceful Dragon onto Sledge Rd. Take the first right onto Winget rd. The park is at the end of Winget Rd.
Don't forget to bring an inkpad, pen and compass....
There is a basketball court, soccer field, playground, and covered shelters with bathroom there, so bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the day....

CLUES:
As you travel in look for Shelter 2 and park there, this is where your journey begins...Head North to soccer field number 2, walk down the path{road} past picnic tables, you might be in luck if you have come out on the weekend to see a spirited game of soccer...
Stroll out past the garden spot at the corner of this area you will see a small tree
{as this tree grows take out the word small LOL}
From here turn 290 degrees until you spot large boulders , walk around these boulders , take the path into the woods , 21 steps or so, you will spot a large fallen pine tree, with a smaller tree underneath it. At this point where it crosses is the treasure that you seek.... please be discreet and rehide better than found
Happy Hunting!!
