As with many people, I have made a resolution in this new year to try and lose some weight. So, now I look at some foods as being good or bad. Your mission, if you choose to accept, is to find all of the good and bad foods and place them either in the waste basket or the bowl. These two stamps are in the box that I will give directions to. The rest of the boxes you need to find on your own. You will need to bring with you all of your letterboxing wiles, and if you have a dog, let his/her nose go wild. I will tell you that all of the small boxes are within 20 paces of the first box (counting left foot only) and that there are between 7 and 15 of these smaller boxes. There are small logbooks and inkpads in each, but markers would pretty-up the stamps a bit. If you contact me after you attempt to find them, I will tell you if you missed any.

The road/trail you will be taking can get quite muddy.

To start your search, you need to turn onto Schalk Road off of Rt. 289. After about a quarter of a mile, it will turn to dirt. You can either park here or continue on a short ways. As you continue in your car or on foot, you will next come to a house on both sides of the road, and then the road gets very rough. If you have 4-wheel drive you can still continue for a little bit. If not, then you really should park here. Either way, continue on the road until you come to the powerlines. If you are still driving, I strongly suggest you park here. Continue on the road with stonewalls on both sides as you go up the hill. When you get to the top, you will see openings on both sides. You want to turn left here. Take a reading of 160* and follow that direction to a 2-sister tree that part is on the ground and part is still standing. In the base of the standing one, you will find your first box. Now, continue your search.

Happy hunting!
