March 2008 UPDATE: Sorry it has taken so long to get this replaced. We've been by the park dozens of times and there are people there everytime. We'll keep trying!

July 2007 UPDATE: Log book was getting full so we pulled it to replace the log book. It will be back up an running in a few days.

4/21/07 UPDATE: We got a couple messages that the box had gone missing so we checked it out today. It indeed was gone so we replaced it. Sad all the stamps from the original are now lost... *sigh* We made it a microbox this time so perhaps it won't be discovered by muggles so easily this time.

Driving along SR50, just west of SR436 is the place where hot dogs go to die. You'll know it on site by the giant, neon-encrusted, frank on a stick rising above the otherwise nondescript little diner.

Behind the resturant is a postage stamp-sized park overlooking a small pond. Enter the park and take a look around. Not many trees under which to hide a letterbox are there? You're correct, so examine the possibilities and take your best shot. If you guess wrong there's only a few more options left. Note: you need not venture into the scarry jungle--there's no telling what you'll find there, but it won't be a letterbox...

The park is open from dawn to dusk and is quite popular on weekends by locals fishing from the dock or just enjoying a light lunch so be very careful when searching out your prize. We've never actually eaten at the restaurant so can't speak to the quality of the food but they've been serving up Chicago-style hot dogs from this location for more than 15 years so they must be doing something right. The park is quite peaceful (and less crowded) right at sunset.

Good luck and good hunting!
