This box was originally planned for the new I-86 rest stop, which has a gorgeous view of Chautauqua Lake. However, the newness of the landscaping prevented hiding a box of this size.
Instead, look to McRea Point in the City of Jamestown, one of our local municipal parks. You'll see, after pulling into the parking area, a dedication plaque from the opening of the park in 1980. To find the letterbox, find the newer dedication plaque on the site. The letterbox is hidden just behind the plaque, but you may have to pier under something to find it.

6/24/07: Box appears to be missing! I'll try to work up a replacement before too long, but sorry I went so long without checking.
