*alive and well as of 11-18-07

The Hudnall Planetarium at the Tyler Junior College is worth a stop if you happen to visit Tyler. They have a free monthly Star Party at night for amateur star gazers, and also have a show once a month in their huge 30 foot domed theater for a small admission fee. Check their site for their schedules and admission fees. http://planetarium.tjc.edu/

* This is potentially a very high traffic area as it is in the heart of the TJC campus. We planted the box on a Saturday afternoon and only saw 1 person, but I imagine that is a different story on a school day. Please be discreet and cautious or this one won't last long.

Directions to the box:
Orient yourself to the Tyler Junior College campus located on Fifth Street in Tyler. When you reach the stoplight where Palmer meets Fifth, turn north onto Palmer. Drive to the stop sign. This street is Devine. Turn left. At the next stop sign (Mahon St.), turn left. The street will make a sharp right turn and will the street name will change to Lake Street. Turn immediately to your left into the parking lot. Drive to the back of the parking lot and you should see the Hudnall Planetarium. Walk on the sidewalk toward the building. There is a fountain on your right (which is a good place to stamp in the respective logbook after grabbing the box). Look to the front of the Planetarium and you will see a group of trees. There are 4 pines and a hardwood amongst azalea bushes. The box is directly behind the hardwood tree under pine needles.

Please reseal and rehide well.
Let us know of condition etc.
