This mystery letterbox is located in the state whose name means “good river”, in a county named after a pesky masked critter, in a preserve dedicated to the protection of a colony of large birds. To get to this place, take a major road with the fifth month in its name. Turn south onto a road that sounds like a refuge for stones. Follow this road for 1.5 miles: The park entrance will be to the right. Park in the lot. Study the sign board; you must head for The Junction.
Pass the silo,
Walk the boards.
Right at the "T",
Start walking towards
The westbound trail.
Over the bridge;
Walk straight as a rail.
No hill or ridge
To mar your sight;
At the wye: sharp right.
Count 50 paces from the tank:
See deer exclosure? (not a prank!)
Here, find cave-like trunk of tree:
Inside, a letterbox will be.
You may continue on, my friends--
Clear to where the sidewalk ends--
Knowing that for your return trip
You must make a reverse flip.
