This happy snowman is hiding in Midland’s City Forest (City Forest is located on Monroe Rd., a quarter mile west of Eastman Ave., past the mall and Meijer) Remember, 2 steps = 1 pace.
• Begin at the SW end of the parking lot at the trailhead.
• You’ll see a wooden table on your left. Check out the trail map and follow the arrows for the north loop.
• When presented a choice, go right
• At 3, see a bridge on your left, go left
• Continue going straight
• At the next intersection, go left to 4
• At 4, turn right (south)
• Stay south through another intersection
• At the T, go right to 5
• At 5, go south to 12
• The trail will then curve left
• At 12, notice a gleaming snow white multi-trunked birch tree 12 paces off the trail at 115 degrees
• Find Frosty, trying not to melt, at the base of this tree.
Special thanks to Keltic Kara and Thumbs Up! for helping me to hide this box.
