This letterbox is in the Hitchener Town Forest. You will not need a compass if you pay attention to the direction clues. Go up Osgood Rd to Mullen Rd. Go to the end of Mullen Rd to the parking area. There is a field on your left which is to the south. Follow the trail across the field to the opening in the trees. You will cross over a footbridge. The trail winds uphill to an old logging road. Head south a little ways until you see a wooden post with white paint. That is the beginning of the trail that heads up the slope to Burns Hill. Follow the white paint marks up the trail. You will come to an intersection right after crossing a stonewall. Either way will get you to the top but left will get you there quicker. Go to the cairn on the top, the view ahead is to the west. Turn around and face the stonewall that you crossed on the way up. You are now facing east. There is a large rock about 30' west off the wall and north of the trail, walk to the rock and look to the south towards the wall. There is a large dead oak stump with a hole at its base. That is the hiding place.
