The letterbox is located in Aspen Park (southwestern part of the City of Gaylord). Take Commerce Drive east off US-27 South to the end to get to the parking lot.

Walk back down the drive,
An adventure awaits.
Go past the mountain bike trail
to the "Iron Gates".

Proceed on through
to the wooden pole.
Watch out for bikers,
and take a little stroll. (approx. 230 paces)

Take in the nature.
Listen to bird songs for free.
Sneak up on some animals.
Find the "Tri-umvirate Tree".

Continue on the same path
to the log earth dams on the left,
Now it is time
to start counting your steps.

Keeping on the same path,
Over the hill you must go.
A hidden trail awaits
a 100 paces or so.

Creep in past the thorn tree,
then take the trail to the left.
to the "Bicycle Graveyard",
to pay your respects.

You'll see the remains
of Scout, Dyna and Turbo.
But the trail keeps going
along the edge of the meadow.

Keep following the trail
as it heads back toward the Pond.
Continue on down
to the viewing spot we're most fond.

Sit down and gather yourself
cuz you are almost there.
Have a little picnic
then proceed if you dare.

Go right along the woods edge,
Four gnawed stumps you'll see.
Go a little bit further
and you can lean against a tree.

Then ten paces you shall go
to the fallen log.
Walk up its length
like a tree frog.

When you get to the end,
You'll see bark in a clump.
The letterbox is underneath.
Inside the old stump.
