***Missing Again! Hope to re-plant replacement soon***

The Grand Canyon Railway is located in Williams, Arizona and the Railway is one of our most favorite places to visit. You can take the train to the Grand Canyon or ride the Polar Express during the winter months leading up to Christmas. We have done both rides and absolutely recommend the experience! This box is in commemoration of all of the great times we've had on the Grand Canyon Railway.

The Grand Canyon Railway Depot is located at 233 Grand Canyon Boulevard, but trust us - you'll be able to find it with no trouble. You can park anywhere around the Grand Canyon Hotel. The Depot is directly across the street from the Hotel. Enter the front door of the Depot and proceed toward the Ticket booth. Directly around the left side of the ticket booth is the door outside to the train platform. Exit out through this door and walk toward the train tracks, stopping at the chain barrier. Directly across the tracks in front of you is a chain link fence with the sign "Children, do not let your Parents play on the train tracks." Starting with the first chain barrier post on your left, head west (to your right), counting the posts as you go. At the sixth post, you should be across from the "Java Stop". At the twelfth post, stop. Look at the building to your right (North) for what appears to be the outline of an old double window. The box is buried under the landscaping rocks, directly below the center vertical divider of the double window.

Please note: The Grand Canyon Railway and the hotel are very, very busy places with many tourists, which is the main reason we chose this location to help provide cover while folks find and re-hide the letterbox. You will need to be very discreet. Please be certain to completely re-hide the box or the groundkeepers may find it! Have fun!
