These were some of the letterboxes from the 2006 'Boxtoberfest NJ gathering.

Box #1.) You need to solve the HAPPY TRAILS LETTERBOX first (which is also posted here on Letterboxing North America) to find just box #2, all others may be worked in any order.
Box #2.) HORSEBACK RIDING
After finding the “Happy Trails letterbox” get back on the blue trail and take the path at 150 degrees. Follow this path and go past the #8 marker to where the trail splits and you can only go left or right; take the path left. Look for the 3 trees grouped together on the right. Sight a path between the V of the 2 trees at 125 degrees. You will see a giant pine tree. At the base of this pine tree you will find what you came for. Please return it to it’s proper resting spot and please cover well. Thank you. Follow out to the tar road.
Box #3.) HIKING LETTERBOX - You have to cross a very small-beamed wooden bridge over water for this letterbox. This is not a wheelchair accessible letterbox
From the waters edge at the pavilion find the water fall and walk to the waterfall. Continue past the falls and up the trail in an easterly direction. At the trail marker take the trail east. Follow along this path; this is after all for the hiking stamp so stay the course. Cross the small-beamed wooden bridge and continue on the trail. You will know you are getting close – watch out for the stump in the middle of the trail that has 2 small “ant” holes in it. Continue to the ‘beach’. Don’t you just hate to get sand in your shoes? Good spot to take a breather and empty out your shoes. Walk to the middle of the clearing where there is an odd shaped oak tree on your right. Walk due west to an old large downed tree. From the base of this downed tree sight a path to 30 degrees to a fat pine tree. From this pine tree walk 10 paces due north to a pine tree with 3 small ones along it. At the base of this pine tree you will find what you came for. Thank you for stamping in. Please return it to it’s proper resting spot and please cover well. Thank you. Walk back out to the small-beamed wooden bridge and back out to the pavilion.
Box #4.) BIKING LETTERBOX
Start at the pavilion and walk north past the water. You will find a small path with a white and a pink marker mark a small trail (small enough for a car). Continue up this trail and stay north on this trail. Follow along the wooden guard rail and cross the road and enter the handicap trail. Walk up this trail past the bend in the trail and past the marker. Follow the trail and look for a large depression in a clearing on your left. Now look to your right and look for 3 trees at the base and 1 dead one are standing. At the base of this pine tree you will find what you came for. Thank you for stamping in. Please return it to it’s proper resting spot and please cover well. Thank you.
Box #5.) FISHING LETTERBOX
From out of the parking lot walk out to the paved road and walk south east to cabin # 3. Start at the pink trail past where it begins near cabin # 3. Once on this trail, choose the trail to your East (right). Watch your step over the trees and past the fence. You are now walking through a little swamp. This bridge will come in handy. Continue your path around the pond. Hey check out the Carnivorous plant sign. Once done turn around and walk 5 paces to the little alcove on your left. Walk towards the big pine tree. At the big pine tree walk 5 paces at 320 degrees to a large cedar. Behind this cedar you will find what you came for. Please return it to it’s proper resting spot and please cover well. Thank you. Now walk back out to the sign and continue on the trail in a northwesterly direction.
