You will find the Normanskill letterbox in between the I87 and 9W trestles. There is an old railroad track that has been removed. How you get between the trestles is up to you, but there is a very safe way to do it. Look at an accurate map, or use a satellite photo.

On the slope to your right, walking towards I87 from 9W is a very large boulder.When this boulder is directly to your right, stop. Look over your left shoulder, you will see a smaller boulder with an arrow on it. Walk 6 adult strides in the direction of the arrow. The letterbox is hidden under 2 stones.

You will need to bring an ink pad. The stamp is made from a cork, use the end with the design embossed on it.

Be careful of thorns and keep an eye on children near the water.
