Do you love to drive through the decorated neighborhoods at Christmastime, to see the lights and the displays, as I do?
The Paz family of Troutdale has been extensively decorating their home for Christmas literally for decades. I grew up nearby and have always enjoyed their Christmas displays (and Halloween too).
This is a temporary box -- get it until about the first of the year. The Paz's driveway includes a turnaround that is decorated with Christmas scenes and lights and you are encouraged to drive through it.
Mapquest for SW 19th Place and Hensley in Troutdale (very near Sunrise Park). Just slightly north of 19th Place, on your right, you will find their home, on Hensley. (Or, do you know where the Post Office is in Troutdale? Hensley is across the street, go south on Hensley to the Christmas House on your left). (Or, take Glisan east until it turns into Cherry Park Road, go past Reynolds High School (go Chargers!), through the light, take the first right and then the first left, and go straight, and it will be in front of you.)
Take your time to see all the different scenes they have placed for you to see. The letterbox is south of the driveway, near the road, on the east side of the telephone pole and facing the neighbor's bushes, in the ivy.
