Three Little Kittens, they lost their mittens, and they began to cry.
Our letterboxing friends, we won’t pretend, we’re sure that they’re nearby.

In Mitchell Park’s a place dogs bark that we’re too scared to brave.
Access the exercise trails full of wagging tails, so our mittens you can save.

To the East you go, through sleet and snow, past a bench and scraggly oak.
You will reach the end of the main trail our friend, by a big tree that’s broke.

You are at a “T” by this big fallen tree and there’s also a bright green sign.
The dog area may be done, but we’re having fun, and for cats this is just fine.

Past the sign straight ahead is a small trail head which leads past the fallen tree.
Ten to fifteen steps you’ll prove to an intersection you’ve moved and this will be the key.

Head North from here, and be in good cheer, for this path will bring us close.
You’ll pass some old tires, who’ve lost their buyers, how they got here no one knows.

When the trail curves East, walking you should cease, and what is that we see?
Look to the right, and what is in sight, but a cluster of fallen and standing trees.

In the middle of this cluster we know you can muster a box that holds your prize.
If you reach an old truck, you have pushed your luck, and did not hear our cries.

Once you’ve retrieved the kittens that lost their mittens, please be sure to re-hide.
Make your way back, along the same track, for now you can have some pie.
