*** Part of my Literature Series ***
Terrain Difficulty: Easy (flat, 100 yards RT)
Recommended Ink: gray, brown & black
Status:reported missing (10/10/09)

This box was placed for the Many Meese Mini-Meet held in Murrell Park on 11/18/06, and is the second one of my Literature Series. "If You Give A Moose A Muffin" was written by Laura Joffe Numeroff and illustrated by Felicia Bond in 1991, and is a sequel to their equally humorous book "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie". Readers will follow a young boy and his voracious visitor through a series of antlered antics resulting from a simple act of kindness. Children will relate easily to the full-circle reasoning of the story, while picking up the concept of cause and effect. It is a fun story and I read it many times to my children, so I hope you will do the same.

Directions:
From I635 West, exit and go north on FM 2499 (Grapevine Mills Pkwy) for about 5 miles. Turn left on Flower Mound Road for .2 mile, then left on McKamy Creek Road for .9 mile. Turn left on Simmons Road to its end, then turn right at the sign reading "Little Pete's Restaurant @ Twin Coves Marina". Follow the winding Murrell Park Road in a westerly direction about 1.4 miles until you reach an intersection marked Fishing Trail #7. Turn left on the gravel road and drive to the end and park.

Clues:
Walk back up the road about 50 yards to a place about 20 feet from the end of the pipe railing on the right side of the road. Turn right, step over the railing, and walk about 12 steps to an oak tree with evergreens in front of it. The camo letterbox is wedged in a crotch about 4 feet off the ground. Please replace in this spot.
