***11/26/09 - Box has been pulled due to major clean up taking place in the area. Will update clue once box has been replaced.***

March 20, 1938
West Branch of the Susquehanna

Directions:
Once you have determined the unfortunate event which took place on this date, find the road in the town that will get you closest to the scene of the tragedy. We recommend that you travel south on this road and enjoy the view of the river. There is a year, visible from the road, marked on the structure that caused the tragedy. Begin at the NW corner of the base of this structure. Traveling north along the road, proceed the number of paces that are the last 2 digits of the year marked on the structure. You should now be near a fence post. Take 12 steps West to a large split tree. The letterbox is in the ā€œVā€ of the tree covered by a SPOR.

Please note that this area is close to an archeological dig site and at times can be a high muggle area. Box is not located in archeological site.

***Please use discretion, zip bags and snap lid tightly, and replace securely. Box contains stamp and log; BYO ink and pen. We appreciate your comments regarding the condition of the box and its contents.***
