Go to Eagle Ridge Elementary School in Lone Tree. Head south on Ptarmigan Tr. Turn right on to La Quinta Dr.
Follow La Quinta Dr. south until you reach La Quinta Park.
Go to the far back NW corner of the park following the sidewalk all the way to the dirt trail at the end. Count 8 sidewalk squares back up to were you came from. Face south towards lincoln. Go straight through to a good sized rock bed. ( may be over grown by weeds). Once you get to the upper rock bed search under some rocks and you will find the Buzzing Bee.
La Quinta park is a great place for kids. There is a big field and 2 playsets ( one is on its way ). Enjoy your picnic lunch here. This park is dog friendly with access to the open space trail system.
