This box is has been left in honor of the first annual Santa Fe Mini-Meet gathering on 11/11/06. It was a great event and I thank everyone who contributed!!!!!

Difficulty: Easy, practically a drive-by.

Clues: From downtown, go to Paseo de Peralta on the northside of the plaza. Turn uphill on Otero (north) and then take a right turn onto Kearny (east). Look for a sign for the Old Fort Marcy and a bit farther on, the park on your right. You can park in the parking lot across the street from the park (whew, that's a lot of parks).

Walk to the center of the park to the monument to L. Bradford Price. Mr. Price was the governor of the New Mexican Territories from 1889 through 1893. There is a great view of the town below from up here.

Standing so Mr. Bradford could scratch your back, walk to the path at 40 degrees. Walk straight down the path and over the little bridge. Notice there are two types of walls here, stucco and rock. Keep walking ahead as long as the white stucco wall on your right is there. When the wall ends and there are no more walls, look at the juniper tree right behind the end of the wall. At it's base, look for your prize under rocks and sticks. Please rehide better than you find it! Thanks! Have fun!

Since I don't live near, I am hoping the fine boxers of Santa Fe will help keep an eye on this happy lizard! Thanks to them!
