This is a short walk - easy to moderate - to the letterbox. You can continue walking on the trailroad in either direction to make a longer loop.

The annual Maple Syrup Festival, held at the Bradys Run Park Lodge celebrates the arrival of the maple syrup at the park each Spring. Each year approximately 30,000 people visit this unique event. (To handle crowds of this size, complimentary shuttles are provided throughout the park). The festival is typically held near the end of March or early April and usually includes tours of the maple syrup-making process, an All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast, crafts and entertainment. For more information, call the Beaver County Conservation Department at (724) 774-7090.

From Rt. 60N , exit 13, turn right onto Brighton Rd. at the 1st stop sign. At next stop sign turn right onto Dutch Ridge Road. At 3rd stop sign turn left onto Park Rd. which heads downhill to Brady's Run Park Entrance on right. Drive throught the park past the beach house and spillway. Turn at the first right after the spillway. There will be signs for Brady's Run Lodge and Maple Syrup Camp. Cross over the bridge and take the road on the right side of the lodge (when it's not festival time). Park at picnic shelter #8 and continue up the road on foot to a trail road the runs on the side of the ridge.

Turn left at the "T" and go approx. 48 paces. On the right side of the road you will notice a red "G" nailed to a tree. At that point look over the hill toward the left side. There is a stump over a small embankment (picnic shelter is visible down over the hill in the fall). You will find the letterbox inside the stump.
