The Poplar Bluff Railroad Museum is located in the old Frisco Depot. The tour guides would be happy for you to come in for a visit. The museum is usually open Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 except for major holidays. Please respect the property.
From the main routes into town, go to the downtown and go south on 5th street to the Black River Coliseum. Park in the lot across from the front of the Coliseum. Go the caboose that is farthest North. Go to the side of the caboose away from the depot. Find the big 303. Below this number, look or reach behind the 2 large coil springs. The box is under the small board to hide it from mischief makers. Please be careful not to bump your head as I did when hiding the box!!! Please replace the board as this helps to hide the box. There are concrete picnic tables on the other side of the caboose you can use for logging. I hope you get to tour the museum and enjoy it.
