Level of Difficulty: Easy
Time: About 15-20 minutes, .2 mile round-trip

One Year was planted in celebration of our 1st year wedding anniversary. We planted it at Chapel Pond in the Adirondacks, a beautiful spot we discovered while returning home.

Directions:

Take I-87 North to Exit 30. Turn left onto Route 73 and travel 6.2 miles to Chapel Pond on the left hand side of the road. It has a paved pull-over.

Clues:

Take the trail to the left side of the parking area, walking by the Chapel Pond sign. Continue to walk along the guardrail. You will shortly see a trail on your right hand side right BEFORE a Giant/Ridge sign. Take this trail down to the pond. Facing the pond, take a left into the woods on a very faint trail. Go 9 paces to a big white birch tree with moss growing around its base. Behind this tree, under some rocks, is One Year.

Enjoy and please re-hide this well!
