Hitchhiker friendly? Yes
Child friendly? Yes
Wheelchair friendly? Only if the chair is gravel approved. (Slight uphill on loose gravel and hard packed dirt)
Time: About half an hour including stamping in (About 2 hours if you do all 6 boxes)

This series is dedicated to the many animals that are currently on our endangered species list. Hopefully someday they will be taken off the list as the Bald Eagle was just a few years ago. With efforts we can make a difference!

To the box:
Take highway 34 westbound through Philomath. Take a left on Decker Road. Watch for the red, white, and blue gates. The third one, labeled Rose Road, is just before milepost 2. (About 1.8 miles from Highway 34)

Park on the shoulder and head up Rose Road on foot. Pass the Kangaroo Rat, Pass the Gray Wolf, and the Sea Turtle. Continue up the hill. Watch to the right for a jumble of roots. Is it two or three sets of roots tangled up there under the moss? Now look on top to the left of center for a root that is reaching towards you. Tucked under it, covered with moss is a Western Red Lily!
