This box was planted as part of the National Plant a Mystery box day, October 7, 2006.

At the end of a plain old avenue in a plain old town, lies a grand old home with magnificent architectural features. Isaac built it for Nathaniel in 1746, General Washington visited in 1777.

Note the 1864 modernizations of the mansard roof, bay window, turret, and colonial garrison overhang.

Walk around back to the high tower in the rear. Under a stone along the base of the porch, not far from a copper downspout, lies a brick. Behind the brick, up under the porch is a microbox. Use a glove to recover in case of critters.
