The "Safari Man- On The Highway/ and Interstate" series depicts things one might see as they drive the highways of the U.S. These are targeted mainly for rest stops but might pop up anywhere. This letterbox is titled AMISH COUNTRY. You will find many of these folks living around here, especially to the North. Happy traveling!

CLUES: Find the rest stop in the west bound lane of I-70 just 7 miles east of Zanesville Ohio just past the 163 mile marker. Pull in to car parking and park past the main building. Do your "resting" in the main building and then head to the far west end of the picnic area up the hill toward the tall Microwave tower. Go to the electric pole close to the furthest picnic tables. (Note: if these tables are occupied you might consider saving this hunt for another day.....Please!!) From this pole, with the large breaker boxes, take a heading of ~ 170* and go 29 steps along the fence line. Turn to your right and find several cut locus logs lying on the other side of the fence. Your quest is between the logs under some bark. Discretely and unobserved, remove the pouch and head to those benches to do the stamping. (Note: first finder gets a hitchhiker by Granny Butterfly to move along for her). Please reseal both the baggies after making sure the log is in a bag within a bag and then re hide it as found. I hope you enjoyed the short hunt, the stamp and your trip is a safe and happy one. Cordially....... Safari Man
